Campbell raced in the second of his Olympic competitions on Saturday 12 Feb at the 2022 Beijing Winter Games.

He managed a good shooting result of 1 + 1 but wasn't quite on the ski pace of the leaders.

His 75th place in the 92 strong field was still a great achievement, or the more so given his young age (the youngest in the field of 92) and the tough snow conditions.

Sadly, only the top 60 advanced to the Pursuit, but nevertheless it's been a great Games for Campbell and he's been a terrific ambassador for the country and biathlon in New Zealand.

We wish him all the best for his next challenge - the Junior Worlds to be held at Soldier Hollow, Utah later in February 2022.
