Wanaka Biathlon Club is running their School Holiday Biathlon Program starting Monday, 10 July 2023.

The three day program is aimed at youth biathletes (Years 7-13) of all levels of experience and will be held in Wanaka and up at Snow Farm using a new split location approach.

Each day of the program will start in an indoor location (TBC) in Wanaka at 9:30 am where our club coaches will instruct attendees on key biathlon skills such as marksmanship and ski technique as well as supplementary knowledge on goal setting, nutrition and training planning. At 11 am the team will pool transport and head up to Snow Farm for the afternoon ski and range session on snow. The team will then return to Wanaka by 4 pm to conclude the day.

By using a split location approach we hope to be able to make the camp more engaging, less tiring and achieve higher quality outcomes for the attendees. An additional benefit is that less transport and parent time will be required.

The program will run from 9:30 am to 4 pm on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday 10-12th July 2023.

Attendees should be in years 7-13 and are required to join Wanaka Biathlon Club and have a Snow Farm trail pass and hire (day or season)

$150 cost per person (covers 3 days of tuition, transport to/from Snow Farm and rifle use)
